Cute as a Button!

Landon now weighs 17lbs, 6oz and is 27 inches tall. Oh gosh.. he is only 4 months and now needs his 6-9mo clothes, whoaaa! I've got shopping to do this month!

He is learning how to scream now and it is sooo adorable! He squeals and shrieks all the time. I'm in love with the sound of his voice.

He loves to hide under the table in his walker, and he giggles when I pretend I can't see him.

He loooves it when I kiss his feetie.. he puts his feet to my mouth and waits for me to kiss it. He is So cute, and he brings such joy in my life.

Gummy Trouble

Whew.. Landon started teething at three months old.. I could tell because he drooled a lot more, started fussing and I felt little bumpies in the back bottom of his gums.

He's biting everything now! When I pick him up, he bites my shoulder, owie. I give him babys Tylenol, some Orajel, teething toys and sometimes I let him suck on a popsicle, it helps numb his gums.

Whew, a lot of work, and I'll definitely miss his toothless grin <3

Sorry that its been so long since I posted. Ive been having bad computer problems, now I can finally post, whew!

Rolly Poly

Guess what?? Landon finally rolled over!! He was playing in his jungle gym on his belly and he flipped over, ohh I screamed, couldn't believe he did it. I put him on his belly again and he rolled over! This morning he rolled over from his back. My little guy is so amazing!!

He also laughed! He finally made his first laugh. I was bouncing him on my lap, he threw back his head and gave out this beautiful belly laugh, and I laughed along too. Tim tickles him and blows raspberries on his tummy and he laaaughs and lauughs. It melts my heart, its so amazing to hear your child laugh for the first time.

I have pics!! Even a video of him rolling over, Ill post it as soon as I find the plug that connects the digital camera to the computer, arrgh. I gotta look carefully!

Tim and I are so lucky to see Landon grow every step of the way, to see him wake up with a smile every morning, to see him fall asleep every night. Each day, he grows more handsome, and he was already the most beautiful baby I've ever seen to begin with.

It just makes me sad that we're the only ones who get to watch him grow. I wish we were there at home, with our family and friends, and to share the joy Landon brings us all.

I have learned to suck on my index finger, and I look so cute doing it ;)

I can watch tv from across the room and roll over halfways so I can face it.

I love to play with my piano on my bouncer! Move over Beethoven!

I can hold a conversation with mommy for 10 minutes with ooh's and ahh's.

I laugh when mommy gives me raspberries on my tummy and neck.

Face it, I'm the cutest baby in the world!

The Light of My Life

Before I was a mommy, I never paid attention to babies but cooed over animals.. until I had Landon in my arms, he rocked my world and I never realized how intense my love would be for him, and the only way to describe it is that Landon is the sunrise my dark world has been waiting for. He's so beautiful and he makes my heart aglow.

Landon has reached a milestone today! I am so proud of my little man! I woke up this morning and he was on his tummy, lifting his head up! Whoa mama! I was worried he wouldnt be able to do it because he never tried to, but he did it right when he was ready. Hehe.

Guess what tomorrow is? He'll be 3 months old! My baby is growing, *Wah*

Landon is crazy about his daddy. Whenever he sees Tim, he stares with a giant grin on his face. He enjoys watching daddy play video games and watching daddy make funny faces. Those two are gonna be buds when Landon grows up, I can already tell!

In the Jungle

As of Today... right now actually.. Landon has reached a milestone! It is Jan 5, 2005 at 3:30pm, and I am watching him focus intensly on a toy dangling from his Jungle Gym. He has learned how to reach up and touch the toy and make it rattle. It is so amazing just watching him learn how to do something like this. I am in awe!

Landon is so amazing, he never ceases to amaze us! He makes new discoveries daily, even way ahead of his level!

He held a bottle upright for a minute straight, all by himself! Everyone at the Christmas party was shocked!

He is a chatterbox. He makes oooh-ing and ahh-ing noises like he's trying to talk to people. He'd look at strangers in the eye, flash a big smile and talk to them for 10 minutes straight, its sooo cute!

He can pull his legs up straight and stand on his own without me pulling him up for 5, 10 seconds, and he uses my arms as a balancer.

He is so aware and curious about the world and rapidly learning about everything. We are SO proud of him <3

p.s. I forgot to add that the pediatrician said he is 90% bigger than babies in his age group! whoooa..

Today was Landon's pediatrician appointment for his 2 month checkup. He weighs 14lbs and 4 oz and is 24 1/2 inches long! Big baby!

They had to give him his shots... 4 of them on both of his legs, ohhh it broke my heart seeing him cry. I wish I could've taken his place.
I tried distracting him by rattling a toy and squeezing his hands. He bawled, aww... :(

He was such a good boy. Daddy held him and kissed him, then it was my turn. His lips were curled under and his eyes were wet with tears, and I rocked him and kissed him. He seemed to be better in a few minutes and he fell asleep.

Then the doctors told me that I had to have my flu shot because Landon was too young to have his, so I wouldn't catch it and give it to him. AHH (I haate needles so much), but I did it for my baby. Ouch!

Landon's all bundled up for the winter. It is absolutely freezing here. Yesterday, it was 16 degrees! Tim got Landon a cute winter hat with a teddy bear face on it and little mittens. Aww..

Tim and I were at his Christmas luncheon at work. Everyone kept saying how shocked they were at how much Landon has grown. They all said he was so big for his age. Landon is 13lbs at 2 months old, and is the size of a 4 month old baby. He's growing so fast, he's already wearing size 2 diapers *wah*. I guess he'll be playing basketball by Kindergarden!

Oh boy, Yesterday was crazy! We were at Tim's staff Christmas luncheon and I had to change his diaper in the bathroom. I changed him and then there was poop everywhere and he pooped on the changing table. I kept running back and forth, trying to clean everything up and Landon was kicking mad 'cause he doesnt like to be changed. He got poop all over his clothes so I had to take it off. There was a poop madness everywhere! Oh boy... and ever since he has been on the new Soy Similac Iron formula, he has been going a lot. I tease him and say that its Ninja Turtle poop! ;)

Being a Mommy

I remember being pregnant for 10 and a half months.. I was so late, my gosh. I waddled around like a bloated penquin.. and it was exhausting!! Never did I know that once I saw my beautiful baby, Id want to do it all over again.

The only way I can explain motherhood is that.. my heart grew arms, and it holds Landon so tight, and it grew claws, that Id do anything to protect him. I want to be the best mom in the world to him, and give him all the good things in this world and hide him from all the bad. My heart melts when I see him look at me and smile. I even think his poop is so cute! lol.

Being a mother is so amazing, so powerful.. and it even makes me think about God.. how he felt about Jesus when he was on the cross.. that shows how much he loves us.. cuz I wouldnt put Landon on the cross for anything! I say thank you to God, for giving us Jesus.. and for giving me Landon.

His Doctor's Visit

I took Landon to the doctor for several reasons. I wanted to be sure of a few things. The Pediatrician found that he has cradle cap and an ingrown toenail. Poor little fella.

I filed his toenails after he soaked in the bathtub and I checked him this morning. His toenail looks good as new!

The doctor recommended Selsum blue shampoo for his cradle cap, but some of my friends said NO, that he could lose his precious hair! They recommended rubbing his head with baby oil or Olive oil and then brushing the flakes off. I have been doing that.

Landon has this new thing where he sucks on his whole hand to keep him busy. It is absolutely adorable. He seems to like it better than the pacifiers :)

Landon James has been watching tv since he was a day old! His first movie was 'All Dogs Go to Heaven' and nowdays he adores Tim's movies... WildBoyz and Seinfeld. I try to get him to watch my Disney movies but he fusses over them, so I give up! Hah. Hes just like daddy.

I made this website for my beautiful son, Landon James. Friends and family can always check back and see how hes doing, the new things he has discovered and see some pictures of little Landon.

Ill introduce you to my beautiful little boy.
He was born on Oct 12, 2004.
He weighed 9lbs, and 2oz and was 21 inches long.

After 16 hours of labor, I got to meet him and hold him in my arms. It was so amazing. I fell in love with him <3
